Look At Me

This started out as a sketch in my school notes, and I ended up just going all the way with it. I did one of Shinji, too, and I was going to also add Rei and Kaworu, but never got around to it.

Evangelion was one of my favorite shows as a teenager, and it still it. When I first saw NGE at 14, I couldn't stand Asuka, because I didn't understand her character. Now I really love her. I think the reason so many girls had a negative reaction to Asuka is that we've all got a little bit of her in us. Same might be said for boys who don't like Shinji. ; )

That said, when I drew this (which was a while ago) I was having problems with female faces. I accidentally made her too masculine. :/
